Today I Reflect

I was talking to a friend yesterday and had somewhat of a small reflection on part of my life.  

I have to say, God has allowed me to see some amazing things that I must be truly thankful.

I had a number of things to choose from when I began thinking about a post today, but I had to momentarily place those ideas to the side.

Some of you have your historical memories, but here's a few of mine;

I've seen Michael Jordan play in person.

I've seen Maya Angelou speak in person.

I watched the Jacksons Victory Tour from the 3rd at Arrowhead Stadium.

I've witnessed God show his face through my child when I called on him.

Earlier this year, I watched Barack Obama speak at a recreation center here in Las Vegas.

Today, I am alive to see that same charismatic black man, Barack Obama, become President of the United States of America.

Thank You Lord, I am truly grateful.
