Thinker

If you don't try something beyond what you've have mastered, you won't grow.

Artist

Hello again everybody, I took a small break to quiet my mind, and use February as some time for clarity.  In other words, I had to spend less time in my own mind.

Sooooooo, while dissecting somethings important in my world, my creativity somehow found its way back to the forefront of my existence.  Very odd, the more confused I get about who I am, the more clearly my creativity comes to me.  Hmmm...

Anyway, whenever the "free spirited artist" mentality speaks louder than I can stand, I look at different types of artists and their works.  Upon my continuous quest to find my own voice in the art world, I always look to one huge inspiration before checking out the others.  Kadir Nelson.

A phenomenal illustrator, painter, and now children's book writer as well.  I could attempt to write about his amazing works, however, I would do him no justice.  I purchased his first book solely written & illustrated by him, We Are The Ship: The Story Of Negro League Baseball.  Now, he has a new book release called "Change Has Come" which is a tribute to our new President.

Tranquility

Sometimes a picture says more than you can actually comprehend.

Self-taught artist, master photographer Peter Lik has one of the most amazing panoramic collections of photography I've ever seen.  Another truly inspiring individual.
